When you need to be seen in person
Some problems need a physical exam, tests or a procedure. If that's the case, the doctor will ask you to come to the office, often the same day. For chest pain, trouble breathing, signs of stroke or any emergency, call 911.

- After hours: call the same number to reach our answering service, which connects urgent calls to our own doctors.
- Current patients can also request appointments in the patient portal.
- Have your medication list ready, and a home blood pressure or glucose reading if you have one.

Televisits use secure platforms and are protected by the same privacy laws, including HIPAA, as office visits. Most insurance plans, including Medicare, cover telehealth visits, and your usual co-pay applies.
